Cape Town history suggests that the bushmen certainly had little fun, when the white man arrived here with his gun.It was the Portuguese who came here first, but the land did little to quench their thirst, they sailed on to other places, while the Dutch took a liking to the Cape's graces.

Scared that they might lose their land, the Dutch asked the British if they wouldn't mind, to look after Cape Town from Napoleons grasp, and give it back later whenever they asked. To everyone's amazement the British gave back Cape Town and the land that they had babysat.

But it wasn't long before they decided, to return and lay claim to the land they most prized. In 1803 the British moved back and set up a bureaucracy without any slack. They abolished slavery and taught English in school, but the Afrikaners would not suffer such fools.

They packed up their stuff and trekked over the mountains, to lusher valleys with pools and fountains, but they fought with the Zulus in great bloody wars, and with God on their side they nursed all their sores, revenge against Dingane the Zulu King, turned Blood River red with many of his kin.
